Mom: Irving's mother is over there spoiling my "grand-dogs"! Dad: They're her "grand-dogs", too. Mom: I'm the in-town grandma! She's supposed to live far, far way! Dad: You've spent thousands more hours with the dogs! They'll never forget you! Mom: ELECTRA! VIVIAN!! It's the elephant that never forgets. The dog recalls only the most recent salami stick.

I really can’t stand people who call their pets they’re “kids” and when it becomes “grand-pets” it’s twice as bad.

Why would anyone say they “can’t stand people who call their pets their kids” – what business is it of anyone else’s? My mother adored her grand-cats, as she never lived to see any of her grandchildren. MYOB!!
