I took a week off to care for my dying grandmother. Apparently no one (not even my BOSS) knows how to do my job while I’m away, because while I was gone, not ONE thing got done.

This was exactly two weeks after the owner told my super that I was replaceable.

Yeah sure you were. I guess there’s some comfort in having too much to do, you shouldn’t lose your job!

Ah yes, the reproductive habits of paper work. Phone messages are worse than rabbits. If you leave 2 touching, you’ll end up with a ream.

Yep, paperwork seems to multiply like you wouldn’t believe. And I was only gone one day!

I was terminated from my part-time job in early Feb. days before surgery. I let them know ahead of time of this. And this is the county. Said they could not hold my position. The county employer did not know and others did not know that HR implemented where even part-time could go for a certain three initials. Of the words I choose disability. Got the sorry job back. No back pay. And 4 months of catchup. I was helping someone else and got behind. The morning could not keep up but when I got back made quick work. in two weeks. I was off for 2 months.

I am currently still part-time officepm but looking for part-time am. Can’t quite never get hired. Wichita, KS job market is bad.
