Some malls in my area started at 9:30pm Thanksgiving Day. Quite sad if you ask me. I think one day we may actually see retailers telling us to forget Thanksgiving dinner just come in and shop and with a $200 purchase, they’ll throw in a free (Swanson) turkey dinner.
And folks ‘round here were in tents in line on Wed night – complete with a roaster full of turkey & all the fixin’s. What a great way to spend Thanksgiving day – doing what America is most thankful for – spending money.

4:00 am here in the US. I’m so glad I don’t work in retail. 4:00 am? Seriously nuts!

Just saw an ad for a store here that opened at THREE a.m. today. Seriously–how early will they go?
