Well, to be fair, though, the turn of the millennium only happens – well, once every 1,000 years. Naturally, Cathy’s going to want to keep anything connected with that time period, as it’s the only thing left that’s representative of it.
On the other hand, A PARKING TICKET?? Really, Cathy – that’s one thing that sounds more like a good thing to forget, not keep as a souvenir!
You’d think Cathy would be sick and tired by now of all this stuff weighing her down. That’s why I’m finally buckling down and working on a couple of problem areas in my home (my home office is especially messy; it’s just become a catch-all for everything I don’t know what else to do with! It always depresses me to go in there.). Things that no longer really mean anything to me are now getting tossed/donated/recycled because they’ve finally become too heavy a burden to carry around any longer.
