Cathy IS Packrats Anonymous. Cleaning, in my world anyway, means throwing something away (or washing it at the least). Moving from point a to point b to point c to point d and still having all of it makes Cathy’s world Bizarro World, not planet Earth as we know it.

As a fellow pack rat, I totally sympathesize with Cathy on this one. If I throw something away I need or find a use for it the next week.

I’m a reformed pack rat. I’m a child of Depression parents so was told to keep things by them, and I did the usual acquiring things as I was growing up. But now that I’m an adult, I’m trying to get rid of the junk and only acquire quality things that I know I will need for a long time. The hardest things to get rid of are the ones with emotional ties.

Not sitting down- she probably got a TON of exercise on the “moving junk around” program!

Any day now, I’m expecting to see Cathy on an episode of “Hoarders: Buried Alive” . . . where they’ll actually find her buried alive (maybe!) underneath all her junk!
