Unless the 45 pre-drilled holes aren't big enough for the 45 pre-made connectors. Unless you lose the allen wrench and all the teensy allen wrench gizmos. Unless your fingers aren't strong enough to pull out the tiny metal post that you accidentally jammed in the wrong hole. Unless you just feel like it. No drill necessary. "No screwdriver necessary." "No pliers necessary." "No hammer necessary."
I love Cathy’s evil little smile in panel 4 as she’s about ready to completely destroy whatever piece of NOT-so-easy-to-assemble furniture she’s currently working on. Right now, she’s a woman after my own heart!!!!! ;-)
Having said that though, if she’s finding it too difficult to put this stuff together on her own, why doesn’t she just call her dad? I’m sure he’d be happy to help her [unless, of course, he’s just as inept as she is]. Take the word of someone who’s married to a man that’s been doing construction work pretty much all his life [as his father was in the construction business too]: there’s no shame in not knowing how to do something construction-related no matter HOW easy the instructions say it is. And as someone who has been right by her husband’s side doing everything needing to be done on our house for the past 23 years we’ve been living here, trying to correct everything that the builder did completely wrong back in1985 . . . very little is ever really easy if you want the project done RIGHT!!!!!
Hi, rgcviper!
Happy Saturday, fellow “Cathy” clan. Hope everyone’s been having a really nice weekend so far! Still enjoying unusually wonderful temps here in Southern Indiana. The high for today was a lovely 84°.
