I think that if Cathy and Charlene agreed on a “No gifts” policy then that’s how it should be. If Charlene goes ahead and gives Cathy something anyhow and gets nothing in return, then she’s got no right to be mad or even disappointed that at least ONE of them followed the “rule”. As for Cathy, she shouldn’t feel guilty for not getting Charlene anything as per their agreement but now that she knows about it in advance, she’s probably going to drive herself crazy running around after work tonight in order to get something for Charlene, too. Why, I don’t know because I sure wouldn’t do it if that were me but this IS Cathy we’re talking about so . . .
Hi, rgcviper!
Susan: I’m so sorry you’ve had such bad luck with men. I’ve been married to the love of my life and my best friend in the whole world for 25 years and wouldn’t trade him for all the money in Bill Gates’ and Warren Buffet’s bank accounts combined. We’ve had our ups and downs [as any married couple does, of course] but I trust him with my life — and he trusts me with his — because we each know the other has our back always and would never do anything to intentionally hurt us . . . and that’s a really great feeling to have!!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥
Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone’s having a really nice day today.

And we wonder why/how Cathy turned into the mega-nut-job she is. Look no further.
