Mom: He'll come, Cathy. He always does. Cathy: I know, mom. Mom: You have to believe. Cathy: It just gets a little harder every year. All those packages. All those places. How is it possible? Dad: Santa Claus? Mom: Fed-Ex guy.
Lots of delivery vehicles in the neighborhood this week. Poor Jayden (the dog I adopted last week) is having a terrible time coming to terms with the fact that they will not swing wildly off the road in order to mow him down. He simply doesn’t understand that the Fed-Ex guy (and all those other guys) don’t have malicious intent. They’re delivering “magic” this time of year, to a bunch of kids who won’t even thank them because they don’t realize they exist. Thanks, delivery guys, for bringing our stuff, even at this time of the year!. Merry Christmas, everybody.
