Cathy: Look, Electra! Hotels that allow dogs! Restaurants that allow dogs! Beaches that allow dogs! Museums that allow dogs! People can finally take a real vacation with their dogs! Electra: We don't have a dog.
That’s it! It’s Official because Electra said it! She’s Not a dog! (I suppose she thinks she is a human). I’ve never seen a dog-friendly museum, unless it has to do with dogs, and I don’t think such a thing exists! Anyway, Electra, it looks like You are going to have one fun vacation! What’s going to happen if you meet a boy dog and you two want to check out the dog-friendly vacation spots by yourselves?! Whatever it will be, I think Cathy’s going to regret taking you on vacation for an extended period of time! I hope everyone out there in Cathy-land has/had a Wednesday filled with friends and adventure (one can dream, no?!) ;)
Given that we’ve loved, spoiled and treated our 12-year-old dog like a human child since day #1, I’m sure she doesn’t know that she’s really a dog either!!!!! ;-)
Hi, rgcviper!
Hello and Happy Wednesday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone has/had a really nice day today!
The first time we took “Baby” to the vet, he had to go in the other room with the vet and get shots. I was surprised to hear MEWING instead of crying (Oh ya, he’s a c-a-t. Huh. How ’bout that?)
Please free yourself about being overweight. You are the same size when you were a high school junior. My wife is 60 pounds over the ideal weight. But I still love her as deeply as when we met. In your interview, you said you wanted to get married but it was the guys. Yes, men from our generation were not ideal partners for marriage. Do you think a guy who is going to get drafted makes a good candidate for marriage? A lot of us came back with a lot of mental problems with the war. These guys were not very good candidates for marriage. What about the rest who didn’t go. But think of all the drinkers and drug users. They were not good candidates for marriage. What was left of eligible men had a pretty big field to choose from. It was not you being overweight, Cathy. Just remember how crazy our generation was.
lightenupI, too, am happy you had a good trip over and are settling in (well, as much as one can without the rest of your stuff). You really got lucky meeting the family from Britain. Thanks for checking in with the clan so soon.

Anyone who loves a dog knows this is so very true. Maybe we have made them think this way, as we tend to do ourselves.Suzanne

One of the rare Cathy pics of Cathy in profile. Love the line, “We don’t have a dog”.
