My dog is delighted with the usual treats he gets year-round – so long as they’re wrapped up (I just use newspaper for his), he really enjoys unwrapping them. I’m not sure he’d appreciate a ‘holiday hat’ at all though.

Her dog couldn’t reject a gift anyways. How’s she going to return it on her own, even if she didn’t love it?

We never really know what our dog is going to like when it comes to toys. Sometimes things we think she’ll go nuts over she never touches; other things we’re not sure about turn out to be the only thing(s) she’ll play with the rest of the day and night . . . sometimes to the point where she tears it open and then we have to take it away from her so that I can sew it back up again (as long as it’s not too far gone, that is!). But no matter what we give her, it always goes in a gift bag (complete with tissue paper) because she absolutely loves to dig through it and haul out the newest additions to her toy pile!!!!! ;-)
