Irving: Things were going so well... and then we just drifted apart again, Cathy. I guess I wasn't ready. Cathy: I know, Irving. Irving: You weren't ready either, or you would have forced me to be ready. Cathy: Excuse me? Irving: If you would have really been ready, you could have convinced me to be ready! Instead... zilch! Cathy: What?? I am not ready for this!! Irving: I knew it! Right again!!
Yeah, right!!!!! Just who does Irving think he’s kidding, anyhow?!? No matter what he says, there’s absolutely no way in the world Cathy could have “forced” him to be ready for a relationship of any kind that he didn’t honestly, truly want in the first place. What a lying little whack-a-doodle he is!
