Cathy: Engaged!! Can you belive it, Mom?? Now are you satisfied?? Mom: Yes! Hoo, boy!! I am satisfied!! I'm full! Full to the top! Yes! I am completely satisfied! Will there be grandchildren??? Dad: You were only satisfied for eleven seconds?? Mom: Can I help it if my motherly metabolism is racing??
For the life of me, I don’t know why Cathy and Irving can’t be allowed to get married FIRST before her mom begins nagging and harassing them about having children. AACK!!!!!
Hi, rgcviper!
legaleagle48: For the last 2-1/2 weeks, I’ve been trying to nurse my husband of 26 years back to health from a kidney stone and the flu (not to mention being the lone snow shoveler around here along with everything else I’ve got to do). No doubt about it: It’s a whole lot easier being married through the “better, richer, and health” parts than it is the “worse, poorer and sickness” parts. But we’ve had a pretty great life so far and I wouldn’t trade it — or him — for anything in the world. He’s my partner, best friend and soulmate. Through thick and thin, it’s me and him forever and ever, no matter what life still has to bring us in the future . . . and I have the feeling that when you finally meet “Mr. Right,” you’ll feel the exact same way too!!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
Hello and Happy Saturday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone’s having a nice weekend so far . . . even if this IS the “Winter From Hell” that just won’t go away! :-(
