In my experience, it’s not a good idea to get mom’s opinion on a dress. I think the bridal dress business would get a boost if they would change their size marketing strategy. Something like, mark all the size 12’s into 2’s, size 14 into 4’s, etc.

Hi lightenup! Other than some confusion in the morning with buses it was pretty uneventful. Of course my 10 year old daughter had a lot more to say about it than my 16 year old son. :-)

Let me see….2’s could be 0 and 4’s will be 1’s. Ta, Da! How many women have you see that are a size 2 or 4? None in my area, except maybe a few young teens, not bridal age by any means. This sizing would be only for wedding dresses to soothe the savage bride’s ego.

With just a door and only a white background surrounding it, Cathy and her mother look as though they’re about ready to step through the entrance of a TARDIS! But then, what good would it do to go back to another place in time where Cathy was once a size 4 when it’s illegal for Irving to marry a 10-year-old?!? (And that’s just a conservative age guess on my part at that. LOL!!!) ;-)
