I don’t know about “good” plastic but I do plan to get a lot of plastic containers to organize my closets. These children of mine sure don’t make it easy to keep the house clean but I asked for that challenge and wouldn’t trade them for the world!

I don’t think anyone is going to care what you keep all of your junk in, Cathy. In fact, (I’m assuming Cathy is baby boomer) I’ve read that the millennials don’t want all the stuff that their parents saved for them..Hello Cathy friends! The girls are off to school this morning! First day of middle school together… my babies are growing up, sniff sniff! :-) I guess after a week or so, this will all be regular routine for us. Unfortunately, my mother is a pack-rat and does not share this same attitude. I think she forgets that she’s 80 years old and all the useless crap she continues to buy at the Dollar Store, Wal-mart and her neighbors’ yard sales is going to be nothing but a soul-sucking burden that I’m going to have to deal with someday. The fact that I have to keep reminding her that she’s supposed to be getting rid of stuff — not accumulating more of it — as we’re looking to move as soon as the right house presents itself does not seem to phase her. At all. Hopefully she’ll see more sense once the time comes to move and she’ll finally decide for herself that she really doesn’t want or need all that excess “baggage” weighing her down after all.
