Good for Cathy! Her demeanor in the last panel reminds me of a scene from the 1997 movie “As Good As It Gets” where Jack Nicholson’s character tells one of his neighbor’s to “go sell crazy somewhere else; we’re all stocked up here.” (LOL!!!!!) ;-)
Hi, rgcviper! :-)
SunflowerGirl100: I couldn’t agree with you more! ;-)
lindz.coop: Glad to hear you’re doing a lot better now. I’ve had plantar fasciitis in both my heels going on 20 years so I know and fully understand what that part is all about — especially first thing
in the morning. After being off my feet all night, the pain can be pretty intense, making it extremely difficult to get around until I’ve walked on them for a few minutes. But once I do, they begin to feel at least a little bit better anyhow. I’d go to P.T. if I could afford it, but I can’t so I just try to do what I can do at home on my own. All I have to do is tough it out another 17 years and then Medicare (if it’s still around then) can help take care of that cost for me! ;-)
Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today! :-)
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! The days keep whizzing by! :-)Thanks for your kind wishes about my knee! It’s feeling a bit better now that I’m on prescription Motrin. Not sure exactly what I did. I’m pretty clumsy/awkward, so it could have been anything. I agree, Sis that sprains are the worst! I hope your plantar fasciitis gets better!QuietStorm, I’m so glad you’re getting some time to relax and rejuvenate! You totally deserve it!

I’ll buy what she’s selling! It almost makes sense, and it sounds kind of nice …

I swear—after I read panel 4, but before I read panel 5, I said to myself, “Nope. Not buying it.” Then came Cathy’s words in the last frame. Spooky!
Though, come to think of it, “I’m not buying it” works on a couple of levels here … which could be the point of the strip.
HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.
