Sometimes success is measured in self satisfaction. Some successful people need longer tape measures than others.

The only people I know that eat in moderation and sensible servings are few and far between these days. Some older people, like myself; but some of them don’t eat in moderation anymore. I grew up with a plate at dinner that had a slice of meat, vegetable, and potatoes (variety of types) and a glass of milk. You had to taste something before you decided you didn’t like it. I did and if I didn’t like it I didn’t have to eat it as I ate most things my mom made. Now my sister and brother (in later years) would even taste it. So my mother would pick up their dish and say when you taste it you can eat the rest. They did and then left it. My mother got to the point that they had to eat vegetables and weren’t leaving the table till they did. They started eating them.

I could use one that size as a computer monitor. My 40" is not big enough.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, week, and weekend. I am disappearing to my home town for the week to do the lighting and special effects for our annual variety show. This makes 47 years I have been involved with the show. No wonder I am feeling old.

Wait—that isn’t a giant chalkboard/blackboard? If this is the case, I think the sign left off an “X” (or seven … ) in front of “TVs”. Ha.

HI, MOM. Happy Friday, “Cathy” Clan.
