Ghost: Boo. Boo. Boo. Boo. Boo hoo! Cathy: We crave chocolate. We learned to satisfy the craving with low-carb fudge soy protein bars. We crave sweets. We learned to satisfy the craving with juice-sweetened carob chips. Cathy: We crave snacks. We learned to satisfy the craving with 100-calorie snack packs. We crave comfort food. We learned to satisfy the craving with frozen dessert-like substances. After an intense year of training, we're braced to resist chocolate, sweets, snacks and comfort food... so when we face a bowl of Halloween candy this year... we eat the Halloween candy. We crave authenticity.
We can pretend to eat sweets all year, but once a year we are all 5 years old and those itty bitty snickers bars are adorable. Roll with it.
