The guilt set in even before she left the store! So, the money you made, gets spent on yourself… I think that is how it works. Unless you can’t buy dog food for your dependent, knock yourself out.

Those boots are made for walking, Walk right back and trade them in for flip flops. At least you can wear them around the house without falling off them.

Given how quickly Cathy’s head was turned when she saw the other lady’s boots, I’m not the least bit surprised that she ended up buying a second pair to go along with the one’s she had already chosen and declared her faithful, undying love to! And while she may feel guilty at having spent so much money on two pairs of boots, we all know she doesn’t have the willpower to correct the situation by returning one of them so she might as well get over it and move on already ….. and by “move on” I mean physically leave the store before some-one else walks by with yet another pair of “C-U-U-UTE” boots she positively can’t live without and finds herself buying THEM too! :-/

It’s like being at a restaurant (in the old days)….you see what the next table is having, and want that. To attract males…have a guy on your arm. The males then think you are what they want, too.

The sales lady is right – When Cathy (and others) shop brain cells are not involved – at least the ones that think of consequences.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. We are having our last day of cool sunshine – rain and/or snow predicted for the next week. Safe to say snow predicted for the next few months.

Just one brain cell, Cathy? Personally, I prefer to buy ’em in bulk … [smile]
