Genius. Of course I just send cards with money. I don’t care what it lacks. It makes up for all that in appreciation.

Irving does this to her every year. I love men’s shopping tactics. I don’t want to do them, but I like them. I find shopping fun. I do miss going into the real stores this year, and actually handling the merchandise. Did I tell you I have completed my gift shopping? I still wonder why we feel we have to shop for adults that aren’t immediate family. A card will be appreciated more than a gift that immediately goes into the “gift closet” to give to someone else. I like flowers. Send me flowers!

For convenience’s sake? This makes a lot of sense. For personalizing gifts, not so much. To each his/her own, though.

Say … I wonder if Cathy’s addressed that box to Abu Dhabi, to join Nermal from “Garfield”? Ha.

HI, MOM. Good Sunday Morning, “Cathy” Clan.

I love cash or gift cards, and so do most of the people I know – makes life SO much easier! (And now to brag: I’m Irving this time! I placed three online orders yesterday and have all my gift shopping done. Heading to Walmart probably next week to get stocking candy, etc. for the kids. Then it will all sit in my closet for the next 3-1/2 weeks and I will finally panic and wrap everything on Christmas Eve. LOL)

My shopping and wrapping is pretty much done. Just need to buy two more presents and a gift bag.

Irving has it right. My daughters receive many gifts from me that are the same for both of them – but then they have similar likes when it comes to Disney charms for their bracelets.

For most of my life I left gift shopping until the last week before Christmas and wrapped Christmas eve. Now I am done shopping already and will finish wrapping by the end of this coming week. Then I will spend the last week before Christmas wandering around knowing I should be doing something but not being able to figure out what it is.

I hope everyone is having a quiet, relaxing Sunday.

I shop throughout the year. When I see something that I think a person would like I buy it. Saves the hassle of trying to find something at the last minute. Also each person gets something personal not generic.
