Cathy: $395 on "brain enhancing supplements"?? What happened to our "tight budgetary leash"?? Irving: I released myself to go get one little bottle of memory-boosting omega-3s. Before I knew it, remedies were flying at me from all directions! "Ginkgo biloba"! "Blueberry powder"! "Matcha green tea"! "Huperzine A"! "Coenzyme Q10"! "Guarana"! "Phosphatidyl serine"! I couldn't avoid them!! Vivian: When humans go "off leash", they always run right into traffic.

Cathy is the last person who should be giving him a hard time about spending to much money.

Next time keep Irving out of the GNC Cathy, the salespeople will spot him as an easy mark going through a middle age crisis. Once he starts listing all his ailments and issues, this is what happens.

I wonder if you eat one of each those things they somehow add up to something like Green tea and an Aspirin?

And not one of those supplements will make much of a difference. After all, it is Irving’s brain we are talking about.
jbarnes and lightenup I had a long talk with my younger daughter last night – it was her birthday. Starting when she was about 12 years old she had severe pain during her period. The doctors (there was more than 1 involved) prescribed birth control pill to help with the pain. Some research on our part indicated that her pain sounded a lot like endometrioses – the doctors scoffed at the idea as she was too young. In the last couple of months her naturopath (my daughter’s monthly pains have continued until recently) pointed out that the start of her migraines coincided with the start of her taking the birth control pills. Her migraines stopped in her early 20’s shortly after she stopped taking the pills. Kind of obvious what was causing her migraines! On the plus side her current doctor (the first female doctor she has seen) confirmed that my daughter does indeed suffer from endometrioses. Her naturopath is providing some supplements to help with the pain and she is now seeing an acupuncturist. Both of these are helping a great deal – she is almost pain free now. In my opinion it is about time – my daughter turned 36 yesterday. To me this is a failure of our medical system – she suffered pain needlessly for 24 years.
I hope everyone is having a great, pain free Saturday.

OK—the dog nailed it on this one.
My thought after reading panel 2? Just say NO!
But, that wouldn’t be nearly Whack-A-Doodley enough, now, would it? Ha.
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
