I lost my sweet little girl 21 months ago after having had her for wonderful 17 years, and I still continue to miss and mourn her absence from my life each and every single day. She was very, very special to me and I’d give anything in the WORLD if only I could have her back here with me again for just one more day! But unfortunately, I can’t. :’-(

That’s why this comic saddens me today. Irving has two beautiful little fur-babies that love and want to spend time with him, but all he wants to do is play around with those stupid “computerized brain exercises” instead. If he absolutely must do that, then he should do it while they’re napping for heaven’s sake! Dogs are only on this earth with us for a very short period of time and it breaks my heart to see him (and people like him) so carelessly squan-dering every single minute of their precious little lives by ignoring them when he could be giving them (as well as himself) a much better, happier life through his time and attention because one day, those darling girls are going to be gone forever and if he’s any kind of a decent human being, he’s going to deeply regret the time he would’ve, could’ve, should’ve spent with them, but didn’t ….. and by then, it will be far too late to do anything about it! :-(
