I was starting to get worried. It got very late on Sunday (well, by BST here in England, anyway,i know the eastern seaboard of the USA is five hours behind us).

And still no CLV cartoon up for Sunday. If it wasn’t for the fact that I know from Jen’s FB page that she’s alive and well and outside the USA, I might have worried slightly as in the past she’s made mighty efforts not to miss a day. One of those things, but well worth the wait!

Curmudgeonly, Mona. Do expat French people in the USA do anything to celebrate Bastille Day on July 14th? And if it wasnt for the French, the war of independence might have dragged on a lot longer….

@AgProv: Were it not for the French at the Battle of York, we’d still be sipping tea and singing “God Save the Queen.” And yes, French people in the US have many Bastille Day celebrations.

Mona, forever a wet blanket on everything, it’s just who she is. The sham marriage between Donna and Pierre is still undefined. Mona’s perspective revealed during the dream sequence was enlightening. But was what Mona wants or how it is.
