Whatever that collection is, itâs enough to cause this sort of panic, so it must be bad. Like if Lucas would talk to Smokey after describing that as âMona crazyâ.
Surely anyone rummaging in Monaâs knicker drawer would be overcome by the smell and be rushed into the emergency room to be treated for Febreze poisoning? just a thoughtâŠ
I was going to mention this yesterday, but does anyone find it interesting that M. Smokey actually knows what Lucas did? Iâm pretty certain at some point Smokey was said to be Monaâs imagination, so he shouldnât actually know what Lucas did.So does this mean that Smokey is sentient but only Mona can talk to him, or that Mona has hidden cameraâs scattered around so she can pretend that Smokey saw something she couldnât have.Personally Iâm going with the latter.
@Night-Gaunt49:Youâre right, I am assuming. But I also have a retentive memory for trivia (Canât remember real-world stuff, but can tell you anything you like on a favourite author like Terry Pratchett, or the comic-art of Jen Babcock, Humon, and one or two others). The assumption is based on what we know from old strips: I recall Monaâs previous track-record in terms of a personal hygiene regime is not good.
One thing her Hawaiian boyfriend found hard to take about Mona was her rather cheesey ill-tended feet. In fact, he was driven to remark about it. Also, there are past strips that make a brick joke about her method of continually refreshing her bedlinen with Febreze rather than wash it. So Iâm betting the worst-case scenario concerning her underwear may also involve Febreze⊠although she does hold down a job, so she must be capable of getting it together for work? My reading of the USA is that it is a very fastidious place concerning intimate hygeine â any hint of BO in a shared office would almost be a capital felony?

Câmon, M. Smokey: âfess up! What did Lucas see in Monaâs âcollectionâ that could be so potentially embarrassing?

Because sheâs French. The only country in the world that increased voter turn out by redesigning voting boothes to look less like shower stalls.
