The ambiguous sexuality of the human incarnation of Monsieur Smokey is, at the least, alarming. If he is now a she, Mona’s psyche is really effed up even worse than I had thought (unless, of course, Mona is a figment of Smokey’s imagination)….

If Monsieur Smokey is actually Madam Smokey, that is the least feminine female I have ever seen. Male breasts have been depicted in the same manner and there is a give away that it is male as opposed to female. Even in this strip, a female would have attempted to cover her breasts. A male would use both hands to cover his crotch area.

Given the size of his nose, I’m surprised the hat covered it.…. What?

In one sense, I can’t wait to see where this goes.
