Similar customs elsewhere, too. In Greece, it’s called Vasilopita (St. Basil’s cake/pie) and usually includes a coin; most often it’s eaten on 1 January, but regionally it may associate with Epiphany (6 January) or even Christmas.I’ve got a tsoureki myself now….
