This must be Donna and Mona’s first meeting. Mona seems to have had some mental problems even in high school. They are not messing with you just because you’re the new kid, and from France, okay? 15 yrs or so ago there was a group of French students visiting my daughters’ HS for several weeks. The most obnoxious bunch of little creeps I’ve ever seen. They didn’t get it(or maybe they did) that the American kids, though not conversationally adept, could understand every insulting, nasty word they said!
