Actually, a lot of drywallers get other companies to do the mudding for them. There are people who specialize in boarding (putting up the drywall) and those who specialize in finishing (mudding and taping). The finishing part is a lot more intricate, and takes more patience.
Real pigs actually prefer blue denim coveralls and will usually wear disposable booties to keep for soiling the trotters.
