    I may have to drop “Citizen Dog” because the mixed emotions are too painful! That such a brilliant strip didn’t survive is a tragedy, and tragedy and comedy only mix well in Shakespeare.

    The reason it didn’t survive is because O’Hare went to work doing storyboards for Spongebob Squarepants. More $$, I betcha.

    True, Sid, but if he had made as much money on “Dog” as he deserved, he wouldn’t have needed to go to Spongebob (assuming it was the $$ that did it).

    Mark O’Hare is a great talent, and I hope I can see him in the comics again someday (like Harrell landed in “Adam” after “Big Top”).
