Apparently, the old 3-asterisk code for blod italics doesn’t work. Sometimes, it’s a little difficult to keep up with all the changes. It coincides with when AARP decides it’s time to contact you…
To get the blue, (which is actually a link to the personal home page of that individual) just put you mouse over the bottom right right-handed corner of the post you want to reply to. You should then see “Reply”. From there you are good to go, but you don’t see the person’s name until you have posted the comment.
Ohmigosh! I’ve been irritating my dogs for years and years and didn’t realize it! On the other hand, they never complained and seemed OK with it, in fact they almost purred at times. See how we learn new things all the time!
@ Grog Thank you for all the great information. How do you know all these things? I never seem to know anything and always have to ask for help.
So then Grog , how do I print the comments for the day on a strip without getting all the ads and the heading and wind up with 8 or more pages when everything could probably fit on two or three? I want to print out today’s comments on CD because there are a lot of good tips and I know I won’t remember them. I need them in black and white and on paper. THANKS!
@ Dry How are you and the two kitties doing? Are their eyes opened yet? Are they thriving and getting stronger each day? I hope you are doing well and feel just great!~I’m OK, just overworked and stressed out with too much to do. However Pandora is happy and shows it.
Sugie give Tina a hug for Pandora and me.
I could keep going on but by now everyone is no doubt bored. So I’ll just send my greetings to all my Buddies:StelBel, Grog, Cleokaya, Lonewolf, x_Tech, JP Steve, Comicgos, Xane_T, Chikuku, Coyoty and Pumaman.
puppybreath, I got them primarly from reading Calvin & Hobbes. A poster who calls himself Hobbes provided many useful tips. ♠Lonewolf♠ & others were able to fill other gaps.
The only way I know how to keep adds out of everything you see or print is to pay for membership. Not only did I get pop-up free access, it gave me access to the archives as far back as I could go.
Uness they raised the rates, which I will find out soon enough. I’m due for renewal in July. Undoubtedly I’ll have to spend some time on your time of the fence as there seems to be no connection with billing & sales or what ever, until I e-mail GoComics.
Fellow Baby, I’m just preparing myself for losing the benefit of seeing those annoying adds. for a few days. Hopefully it won’t occur over the weekend again.
TY Fergus, I needed the belly laugh. Me, my wife and our 6 cats are sitting in a friends converted garage while fire fighters try to keep my town from burning down again. It’s the refugee life for me.

Do not put any spaces between them or the words you want formatted.

This kind of thing is right up there with people who dress their pets up. On the other hand, Fergus deserves the abuse.

Yes it’s irritating now go to sleep!
Good Morning Grog, Dry, Cleo, Lonewolf, puppybreath, StelBel & all you gooood CDers out there.
I just use 2 asterisks before and after—no spaces.

sugar, you only need one for bold but it works with 2 as well. But for bold italic, follow my instructions.

I always try to talk to children and animals the way you would talk to an adult. I think they prefer to be treated that way.
However I often talk to adults in a silly sing song voice using nonsense words, just to irritate them.

And so the worm turns! How do you like that Mel?
I expect that is how our two little bits when we wake them to feed them, LOL!
