OMG! stel ol’ bel, didn’t you notice in that picture of Big Ben last night that those pesky Germans have conducted yet another sneak attack on merry old London town?where the heck are the Spitfires?
Had a white cat (Casper) back east that used to spend most of her time outdoors. When the first snowfall fell she came inside and didn’t even look at the door until spring was firmly there.
Good Morning Grog, Dry, Cleo, StelBel, noicantspell & all CDers.
Shika, I got sidetracked by a very interesting Twilight Zone episode, starring Donald Pleasance as a teacher. He had been let go by the school to retire. He got in his head that he did nothing to touch the lives of those he taught. He was about to to kill himself when the school bell assembly rings on Christmas Eve. He goes to his class to find some of his students from the 20’s to the 50’s. All of them dead, but all who took a piece of what was learned from him with them.
Atlantis? You mean Atlanta, don’t you, Shika? At any rate, Dallas is somewhat dryer than Houston, but there’s no substitute for Phoenix. I love dry heat. Dallas is certainly dryer than Houston in that regard.

Another foggy morning in the PNW. Perhaps I should join the cats and head south.

Very moving and one of my favorite episodes.

But I do like Dallas better than Houston for a number of reasons.

Way too wet, Shika! Way too much humidity there.

Shikamoo Premium Member over 12 years ago
@Citizen GROG!Ha-ha! Only in the ‘Twilight Zone’ Grog. No one has ever found Atlantis. Plato wrote about it.So Atlanta is lost now too. ;-)
