I coached my son for nearly 7 years. I actually found it hard to focus on any one kid, so my son just blended in with the crowd. But each year I asked him if he still wanted me to coach, and each year he said yes. Finally, I told him I was done. Think I’ll enjoy it this year!
my brother spent a few years coaching his daughter, and then stopped to be just a parent. she finally got him to start coaching again this season. some parents can handle the role, some can’t.
