Boy: You can make it! Jack: Whew! Boy: Isn't this cool?! I'll meet you guys on the ramp on the other side! Jack: What are we doing here? Mondo: It's Sam's birthday party and he wanted to have it at a skate park. Jack: I like soccer, but I'm not going to make people run around kicking a ball for 90 minutes at my birthday party. We'll never get down from here. Mondo: We'll get down, it's just going to be panful. Jack: From broken bones? Mondo: Splinters.

Some of the words I most hated when I was a kid: “Have you practiced the piano today?”. After years of lessons and practice, I never got beyond playing the notes, never really could play the music. Finally hung it up as a later teen. I came to believe you either had the talent, or you didn’t. Then later realized many parents use piano lessons and practice as a ball and chain to keep their kids at home.
