Grandfather Oliver: Don't sound like a fool, son! Baseball players are twice the athletes soccer players are! They use their legs and their arms! George: Pop, I'm not saying baseball players aren't athletes. I'm just syaing that soccer players are more fit. They run constantly for a whole match. Grandfather: That's all they do is run! Run and kick, run and kick! Baseball requires more skill! George: Soccer players are skilled! They're running while they're dribbling a soccer ball! Try that sometime, Pop! Margaret: Children, please... let's try to find some common ground where you can agree the sports are equal. Like the universal sports tragedy-- the cruel injustice of bad calls from the officials. Granddad: The calls are a lot worse in baseball. George: Aw, man-- no way! Haven't you been to any of Jerome's soccer matches? Those refs can't get anything right!
Nice try, momma, but guys just LOVE to argue about their sports.
