    I think he means that “Coming back to life as a house cat” is not an available option…(I’d love to, I mean, do what you want, when you want, 9 lives, etc. Just look at Garfield…)

    From the looks of the angel’s shredded wings, he must’ve had an altercation with an un-declawed house cat somewhere along the way…………at least that’s what I make of it all…….

    The only thing I can relate to this cartoon is the idea than an unneutered tom kep as a house cat has the best of available lives, with shelter, free food, petting, and presumably unfettered access to female cats. I would note that I have been told by a grief counselor that many recent widows believe their deceased spouse’s spirit returns to comfort them via a cat.
