Since ants can carry many times their own weight, shouldn’t there be only one ant pallbearer with the coffin on its back? After all, the ants would likely weigh the same as each other, and the only other burden would be the coffin itself and I doubt it’s made of solid mahogany. Just opining.

Unlike humans, that require 6 pallbearers, the ants are only using 4, so it looks like McPherson did make some concession to their strength.

Ant strength is true when they use all six legs, these pallbearers are only using two legs so they need to triple up on the Ant power.
