Man: It?! Ha! That's nothing! Thanks to our secret tree watering ingredient, we've got 29 big, juicy needles on our tree! Every year, the halms and the Leonards held a contest to see who could keep a needle on their tree the longest.
The Christmas after my dad died, Mom put up the tree and didn’t take it down for two years. Some of my sibs were a bit disturbed and concerned about the whole thing, but all of Mom’s grandkids loved it. I’m just glad it was artificial . . .
