I know it’s a comic, but I feel I should mention that there is no evidence that gluten causes gastric reflux disease. And while gluten is a very nutritious protein, I doubt that geckos can benefit from it.
I don’t think lizards are supposed to eat grains. So, yeah. Probably healthier for the lizard. But hey, it’s always good to poke fun at the celiac community when you can’t think of a joke.

Crickets and mealworms are naturally gluten-free, and also probably non-GMO.
