i think Mark’s theme of a better way to go is adorable! (double fold meaning in this case. both as in the ‘awwww’ reaction and ‘having the ability to be admired”
wonderful!
Living in FL I do NOT miss the first sNOw or the winter’s chILL. What I miss most of all from my life up north is the Lightning Bugs in June (we’ve got no Lightning bugs any time here). What an awesome way to decorate a tree. Yeah, I know they are a summer thing - but the scholars teach that Jesus was born in the summer anyway (that’s why the shepherds were in the fields and not tucked away at home).
Lio (and Mark) - I salute your Christmas Creativity & Spirit.

Eco-friendly fireflies! How fortunate that Lio has trained them! Both Dad and Squishy (Ishmael) are amazed!

As long as they stay put.

Hope Lio has more lightning bugs when these ones die. I’d be surprised he has a Christmas present for each and every one of them too.

Dad’s so impressed, he doesn’t even mind having a big wet tentacle around his neck.
