Bung doesn’t have much of a choice. He’s either going to be shaving with the DT’s or while he’s drunk. Either way, he’ll have to keep the toilet paper handy.

For his injuries he’ll need duct tape.

With all those nicks, he’s losing alcohol.

Again a poor German is lost, what is DT, another word for hangover?

Just found it and feel stupid now, delirium tremens could have come to mind. But at least I may blame last nights Glühwein for my lack of understanding…

Don’t fret, HerrB. Supposedly many words in your language carry a content that doesn’t translate over into English. That may well be true.

I didn’t know Bung stayed off the hooch long enough to even start to get the DT’s.

24 - 48 hours detox can trigger DTs. Heart attacks, convulsions, and seizures. Then we think we’re fine and resume drinking.

Delirium tremens is a medical condition and is a result of the body experiencing severe alcohol withdrawal. First medically described around 1800. Within a few days of the last drink the body can experience tremours, halucinations, seizures, and even death. Typically expereinced by long-time alcoholoics who suddenly quit voluntarily or while in hospital for something else.
