At my golf course there are many helicopters flying overhead. When I play elsewhere and my friends are trying to be funny by making sounds when I putt, I request helicopter sounds. It works for me! I putt better with the familiar wop wop wop.

WoodEye, I’ve played on a course that has a landing strip for small aircraft a few yards away.

I played a course were you had to cross railroad tracks to get to the back 9. Try teeing off with a train going by!

I once played a course where you had to wear a tuxedo while you played. Or was that my wedding?

Years ago, like about 80 years ago, my dad went to a doctor. The waiting room was full. They all waited a couple extra hours because the doc went and played a round. Priorities.

In the same vein as DD Fence “Can I play through?” line is hearing the drop of the ball on the apron (while you’re putting) from the group behind you when the course is jammed and there is no way they can play through anyway.
