Quick melting snowkid… grab frosty’s hat.

Dr toon: i always loved the winter strips in calvin and hobbes. his snow goons could have ruled the world. and some of his snow sculpture always makes me laugh. like the “swimming snowman” with the snow shark fin in pursuit.

We should do something to help the poor boy - maybe we could start a slush fund?

I’m with you Tonytiger29. Those are hilarious snow scenes. The art here is awesome, too.

Gee–that was my problem when I was in show biz: I wasn’t an actor, I was a snowman! The curtain went up, the lights went on, and I FROZE!

My favorite Calvin and Hobbes gag regarding snowmen was the snowsquid grabbing and eating panicked, fleeting snowmen (and killing them by decapitation). It was a grisly scene indeed, one which made Dad think that the schools needed to assign more homework.

Even when looking at Calvin’s psychosis, Dad remained unimaginative. But Dad could pull a few surprises in that department himself, as with Hamster Huey and the Gooey Kablooie and The Hand.
