i read comics all night and i sleep all day. i once went to visit a friend as a “lumberjack dressed for a night on the town”. it was fun wearing a lumberjack (flannel) shirt with a tie and carrying a sheathed hatchet strapped to my belt while riding on a city bus. i miss the innocence we used to have about things like univerity student pranks.
Ooooo, you had to say it, Ji2m, didn’t you? For all of us visually oriented types that have to find the repeat in any pattern. I’m Not OCD, mind you, I just love puzzles. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Are any of the trees identical? I have the answer, but I can wait. See if you catch anyone else. What else is there to do anyway, if you live on the Eastern Seaboard. It’s too cold to go shovel the snow. Stay warm and have a cup of cocoa.
Ji2m, message? You mean like is it in Braille? Like do we have any blind readers in the group?
Interesting that LibrarianInTraining thought Binary, while the 20 year veteran Librarian thought first of a code (it is if you stop and think about it) that follows the format of text as found in printed books!
Jason does something like this EVERY Christmas. I remember one where he has gingerbread men who are completely naked and each of their clothes were separate. he said “I guess they got hot in the oven”, or something like that.
Supposed repetition is a popular gag in Foxtrot
“Must you do this every year?”
“I remember you from last year.”
Makes sense, considering they never mature or age

Weell, nobody else came forward so the answer to Ji2m’s question is none of the trees are identical.
