Yeah, EarlWash. Opal’s constantly getting up on the wrong side of the bed.

She’s in a bad mood because she didn’t get invited to her daughter’s house for Christmas this year.

in my book, hot cereal=bad day.

What if she serves him something other than cereal??

Pan cakes, or waffles, or eggs, what does this indicate? Hum. FFT?

How about Earl gets up and gets his own cereal…..or better yet Earl gets Opal breakfast for a change.

I think you could almost take this a step further and find out the nuances of her bad mood by letting us in on the KIND of cold cereal,,,, ;)

If she made pancakes or waffles or eggs and bacon that’s a lot more trouble than cereal so it would mean she was pleased with him. I’ll bet he doesn’t get that stuff too much.

I’d guess I’m about Earl’s age [but look younger] and I’d have to say “this is one of my favorite cartoons!”

Well hey, waterwalker, try putting a little spice in the old boy’s life when no one else is around. Late at night,put on your Christmas nightie and shake it around a bit….hopefully with all the lights turned off, of course.

I like both of hot and cold cereals to eat. Taste still good! :-P
