Andy’s been in a LOT of different pubs over the decades. I think maybe “The Rose and Crown” is the most common name to pop up. “The Jolly Rivet” wasn’t familiar to me at all, though it obviously must have popped up at least a few times, to judge from Eldo’s classics. I wonder if anybody could come up with a partial list of pub names? (By the way, my personal favorite is “The Rose ‘n’ Crantz and Guilderstern”……..)
You betcher sweet bippy, baby ! If data bits from Verizon were more generous for the price, I would run my operation off the phone and save travel time and get on practically everyday while away. I spend 68.00 $ U.S. a month for the phone as it is. Just a ‘dumb’ phone at that. Caught up my three weeks worth of comics today. Frog Applause blog next….
I also notice a different feel when certain other regulars go missing for an extended period.
See ya !
Sorry to hear that. I hope you will find a cheaper phone and broadband which is worth the price.
It was still really nice when you commented now and again while you were away. MUCH better than not at all.
A few months ago I couldn’t do any of it but I took lessons from Eldo. It just takes a lot of trial and error. You can practice on an old Andy date if you really want to learn.
The last one reminds me of my grandfather. He loved playing the pools. Only he never had to go that far to do it. He’d be in his workshop just up the hill from the house.

P.S. Nobody can do all the things Eldo can do. He is the master. Maybe someday a new young gun will come to town to challenge him.

@EldoMaybe it’s time for you to again post a link to your HTML primer.

If NASCAR teams can have pit stops, then so can this one!
