Jason: Since when do you wear glasses, Eileen? Eileen: It's a costume, can't you tell? I'm dressing up this week in anticipation of the movie every book fan has been waiting like crazy to see! Jason: "The Lord of the Rings" doesn't open until next month, doofus. Besides, what Tolkien character sports that Harry Potter eyewear? Eileen: Why do I bother with these muggle?

I never understood why none of those magic experts at Hogwarts couldn’t improve Harry’s eyesight. You’d think if they could do stuff like grow bones back in his arm that they could do something like a little adjustment to improve eyesight.

Yep, this is when the first installments of both movies came out. Our family went to the movies on Christmas night. My wife and I saw LOTR; the kids saw Harry Potter. It worked out great as everyone enjoyed their movie.

I’m totally with Jason on this one. Went to all three LOTR movies on opening day and am SO excited for The Hobbit next month!!!

The problem with magical eye spells is that you can wind up with lens edge artifacts, “halos”, and poor night vision. But they will always offer to sell you another spell.
