I sometimes wonder if there’s some kind of cosmic connection between cartoonists, but they probably just get together for coffee a couple times a month.
I new a guy that submitted cartoon ideas and mass mailed them to all of the popular cartoonist of the time. Occasionally the ideas were used by more than one cartoonist on or near the same date. That would explain trimguy and jeffbacons comments.
