At the end of my first hitch, an old (to me) First Sergeant was calling the roll at the repple-depot and was having a large amount of trouble wading through a raft of Greek and Polish names when he stopped and said “(cuss words), these ain’t names, they’re DISEASES !” Goodbye, Fort Dix.
