A man may work from sun to sun
But a woman’s work is never done
Or paid for
Or commended
Or so the love of my life would have me think.
Why does she know what Hollywood type is with who?
Why does she know what Dr Phil/Oz said?
Why does she tell me about Oprah’s new diet?
Why does she know all the gossip in the neighborhood?
Inquiring minds would like to know?
Intelligent minds don’t ask.
When my kids when little said they couldn’t find anything. I tell them there is a secret that would get their attention have a treasure hunt and see what types of treasures there are. My son was amazed at what he found including homework and bags of trash. He found out and took pride in a clean room and we gave him praze for that task his sister did the same to. She took up faster then her brother she is younger.
I also had them wash their own clothes taught them how to and when they took homeeck my daughter came home and told me how glad she was I taught her what to do because others didn’t know how to. She has a friend younger her own mother had her do certain chores and make her own lunch since she is a picky eatter..
I clean when company is coming (unless they’re the ones who make such a mess that I have to clean afterwards). Other than that, I just keep things as neat and clean as I NEED to keep myself happy (garage and storage rooms can alway wait)…

I always thought that cleaning (most of it ) was totally pointless.
