tagteam, maybe they got their legs blown off in the explosion.
I did a REYNOLDS UNWRAPPED cartoon once of Spiderman sneezing and the web that came out of his nose was all over Batman. Superman was in the background laughing at them saying “Bless you.”
I also did another REYNOLDS UNWRAPPED cartoon about a sneeze in which I actually used Dave Coverly’s name. It was Dave in successfully being the only person that could sneeze while holding both eyes open. It pictured him with two black sockets where his eyes were and his eyeballs about 10 yards out in front of him. I think the official at the event was holding up his hand in victory for his accomplishment.
Dave was drawing cartoons during his biology class which is why he may have missed the lesson on spider leg counts, but you’re probably actually glad he did because, otherwise, you wouldn’t be reading his cartoons and being given the opportunity to notice insignificant facts.

Coverly needs to study biology a bit before drawing insects or spiders. (They ain’t the same)

Yeah, but c’mon, this is a cartoon.

Well, Dave needs to study more than biology because he prefers pinkish skies and purple in his tree bark. And them’s his words.
