why would Earl want to look up there skirts he knows that there old up there and there is nothing intresting to see up there at those ladies age now if they where in there 20’s or 30’s maybe he would.
Joe, my Mom at age 80 got herself down on the floor between her bed and the wall (she refused to tell us how) and couldn’t get up, and Dad (age 82) couldn’t get enough leverage in the narrow space to help her up. She also couldn’t crawl out because they had a huge cedar chest at the wrong place and there wasn’t enough room. Dad ended up calling the paramedics to help her. They thought she had fallen and took her to the hospital for x-rays which turned out to be a good thing because she had pneumonia. That was why she didn’t have the strength to get up.
Oh yeah, Dad and my brother later moved that cedar chest out into the wide hallway so it wouldn’t happen again.

They don’t even seem surprised to see Earl there on the floor. They know him too well.

I like someone’s suggestion yesterday to just put a blanket over him and use him for a footstool.

Earl still lies on the hard floor. How long does he lie on the floor? Longer enough?

Just roll him out of the way and be done.
